Her hands trembled. She looked around, noticing nothing's changed.
She was surrounded by the same, school walls. Mostly painted white, with slight changes in colour or material.
She sat on the same gray chair as she normally did. The tables were the same.
The people were the same.
The sounds were the same.
But her heart was not.
If no one were around, she would clutch at it.
Beg for it to tell her what was wrong.

She took a quick glance at her text messages. So many conversations left uncompleted and she was the last sender.

And the rhythm of such rhymes,
moving my limbs in tandem with its flow.
The sweet smell of fresh laundry,
or the comfort of my bed.
In this vast world,
these blessings seem so small,
yet their impact is on a much larger scale.
Maybe that's who we are in the eyes of the Lord.
Millions of us populate this Earth,
and, compared to the rest of the universe,
we are but a speck,
a dot,
moving on the planes He created.
